Attractive penzion. Large rooms. Very friendly and helpful guest service. Very good a/c was great benefit during unusually warm summer. No elevator in older building so many stairs to climb if carrying much luggage to suite

We so enjoyed our week at Penzión Hradbová. It perfectly met all our needs. The room was great. The courtyard was amazing, so peaceful. Breakfast was varied and tasty. It was an easy walk to Hlavna. We were thankful to have air conditioning. They arranged our transportation from and to the airport. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Great experience at Hradbová Pension
Excellent almost family-style pension in a quiet side street in the Košice city center, easily reachable on foot or by car, parking spaces available right in front of the building. Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean premises, room very well furnished, bathroom spacious and convenient. Breakfast very tasteful and with good variety, served between 7-10 am, but will prepare a light breakfast on request even earlier. Very safe entrance with bell to the reception. Would definitely recommend and stay again anytime.

Great pension in the heart of Košice
Excellent pension almost in the heart of Košice, about 7 minutes walk from the St. Elizabeth Cathedral and 15 minutes from the train/bus stations. Situated in a narrow quiet street, there is almost absolute silence during the night. Very friendly and attentive staff. Modern spacious rooms, very clean, very big bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, on request prepared even earlier than 7:00 hrs. Strongly recommend.

A good small hotel. Nothing flashy about it but they do the basic stuff well. Spacious rooms with air conditioning, buffet breakfast, cheery helpful staff, a small courtyard to relax in.

A comfortable place to stay
The Penzion Hradbova is located 200m from the old centre of Kosice which is a car fee zone, full of historic buildings, grand churches, shops and eating, drinking and people watching places.
The hotel is in two adjoining buildings with a beautiful, quiet garden between the blocks. 
Check-in was quick and easy. Not so the climb up the 44 stairs to our room. There is no elevator. The room was one of the larger ones with a sink and small bench with bar fridge. The room and seperate bathroom were spotless and the bed super comfortable. Thankfully the room had aircon as it was on the top floor and the the temperature was 33C in Kosice.
 A very good breakfast is provided with cereal, meats, fruits, cooked dishes and an excellent coffee maker is available.
 Kosice is a lovely place to visit in eastern Slovakia and the Penzion Hradbova is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Good Location near town centre
Clean and comfortable hotel very near the town centre. We travelled as a group of 8 and all 4 rooms had air conditioning which was much appreciated during the summer heatwave. There was varied selection of hot and cold food for breakfast included in the price. Will use again.

WE CAME FOR 12 HOURES.THE BEDS WERE SUPER.THEY HAD A LITTLE COFFEE CORNER : WHICH WAS VERY GOOD.THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE. THEY HAVE NO ELEVATOR AND OUR ROOM WAS IN THE NEXT BUILDING. WE HAD TOCLIMB SOME STAIRES BUT NOT TOO MANY. THE PARKING OF THE CAR WAS VERY COMFORT.

Basic hotel but very clean and centrally located to the Steel Arena and town centre. Lovely little garden, however, jacuzzi in the wellness suite is freezing. This is a great hotel if your going to be out and about but it doesn't have any general indoor areas or bar area to relax in.

Wonderful accommodations.
Hotel was in a great location with a very short walk to the old town area with restaurants and shops lining the street. Breakfast was wonderful and parking was free. A favorite city and would highly recommend the hotel. Only negative issue was no elevator, but the desk clerk did offer to carry our suitcases upstairs. Pack light.

Lovely Hotel, Great Location
We picked this hotel for a two night stay due to excellent location - within 5 minute walk of town centre and all attractions. Service was also very good, 24 hour front desk was great for us arriving late in the evening and room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend if spending time in the city

Two minute walk to old city
Visiting Kosice in January can be scenic but cold and this hotel has fantastic wellness & spa facilities. We spent there two nights semi-privately enjoying the steam room, sauna & Jacuzzi. On top this hotel provides massage therapy of different kinds & mud wraps. It's very relaxing. The stuff is extremely caring & helpful. To our surprise they packed snacks to supply our missed breakfast as we were leaving very early morning @ 3:45 a.m. That's a first!
