"The beach was so beautiful, safe to swim, would have taken my own snorkel if I had know how great the area was. Our room was on the bottom floor, so we could go out our doors right out to the beach. The outdoor dining was just a few steps from our room. The food was great, so were the drinks. One drink in particular was great, called a Mud Lover. The staff was great, especially Ryan, very friendly and helpful. Marvin was also great. One thing I would recommend would be to rent a car at least...

"Paul & his team are amazing hosts. The Black Pearl is a lovely place to stay without the hustle and bustle of a big complex. Everything is available from a washing machine, BBQ & reef shoes. The beach is a 30 second walk accross the road and there is a restaurant and garage right next door for any snacks or drinks if needed. Paul can provide great recommendations for restaurants and car hire! Thank you so much for making our first trip to Raro truly on to remember!!"

"The hotel is nice, the staff are hospitable, and the resort activities, such as kayaking and snorkeling, are really fun. However, there is no hairbrush, toothbrush, or slippers in the room, and you have to buy them, which is inconvenient."

"Awesome stay, absolutely beautiful location and the lagoon being right there is INCREDIBLE. Amazing snorkelling right outside your room, saw rays and awesome fish (someone saw a turtle but we did not). Absolutely would recommend, staff are lovely and a pleasure to chat to. Swim up bar is awesome and perfect way to cool off. Can't recommend highly enough!"

"If you’re just looking for a clean, decent, and convenient place to stay for 1-2 nights, I highly recommend this place. We landed around 11:30 pm, this hotel is very close to the airport (walkable). We stayed here at the front and back ends of our trip as we spent the majority of the trip in Aitutaki. We would stay here again. The restaurant had great food and drinks. "I loved this resort and would go there again. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and always had a smile on their face. Everything we needed was provided including bikes to ride around the island, snorkels, reef shoes, pool noodles, canoes, filtered water, and free wifi. The Day Spa massage was tranquil and relaxing and the pool in the villa was great! "

"The Nautilus is a beautiful place to stay. Nice and quiet and clean. Everything is in walking distance. Just need more variety on the menu for the restaurant as you feel like your eating the same stuff everyday. Need more fresh fruit everyday. You need to get ideas for the menu of the Pacific Rarotonga. As they had an amazing menu specially for dinner. "

"Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. The night market was only steps away which made dining easy when we had no car available. We did rent a Muri Shores vehicle they had available at the end of our trip. This helped as our flight did not leave until late at night and gave us the option to tour the island, store our luggage in the car and have easy drop off at the airport since we had no place to stay after checkout, a common problem with late flights. Can’t say enough good things from this Canadian who was a long ways away from home. "
