"In the heart of Korcula. Beautiful heritage hotel. Very well maintained to keep its "old world" feel. Staff was very helpful directing us to tours and restaurants. Hotel

was outstanding. Beautiful patio. Caution areas: the hotel has NO elevator due to its heritage status. Pick your room carefully. Our loft room was spacious, but the "port hole" sized window didn't give us much of a view and the view from the window upstairs really only gave the view when seated at the desk."

"We booked a double room with sea view. However, we were given a room in another hotel (Marko Polo) with no views at all. The hotel is very Eastern European style, old and not too comfortable. However that worked for us since we were out most of the day. The only "comfort" issues were that you can't regulate the AC temperature and nowhere to dry your beach towerls and bathing suits. The hotel has a perfect location, close to the city center, by the sea yet protected of all the hustle. The...
