"What a great place! Highly recommend. Walking distance from where the bus from the airport drops you off. Very close to everything. Clear communication and instructions to get in. Amazingly decorated and one of the comfiest beds I've slept on. Sadly, only stayed for one night. I wish I had more time!! If I ever come back, will stay there again. "

"Lovely interior, free coffee/tea all day. Oat milk available at breakfast which is great for lactose free guests. Great location, only a few minutes walk from the bus/ train station. Staff were helpful and a lovely sitting area with bar. Highly recommend "

The only downside was the noise level at night. when we were settling in to go to sleep you could hear drunk people yelling and screaming around, there are a few bars just a few doors down and it was disruptive. Luckily my daughter and I were exhausted and managed to fall back asleep after the first night, however the following 7 nights we put in our noise cancelling airpods. "Restaurant next door and opposite. Bus stop right outside the apartment hotel. Safe (you require key code) to enter building. Great communication from the hotel staff via email (before check in), any other communication via sms. It is not the quietest hotel as it is close to bus stop, so during day time you will hear frequent bus noises. Still deserves 5 stars. Will stay again. "

"Room was small and hard to walk around bed as mattress platform stuck out beyond mattress and you could not walk around it without catching your leg or foot on very sharp corners-very bad design. My husband hit it twice and I hit it. Mattress was uncomfortable and pillows had smell. When we got to room cups in bathroom were dirty and lite was out over vanitory. "We can’t recommend the Hotel Royal more. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced in our 30+ years or traveling—and I’m not overstating that. The people were so friendly, caring, and helpful. The hotel itself was very well appointed. We loved the onsite restaurant and also found that the hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Aarhus bars, restaurants, and shopping. We will be back.
