"Stayed 2 Nights. 1/27-28 Had a long layover in Columbo On the 28th which started at noon. We booked the room for 2 nights to ensure that it would be ready when we got there and we would not have to wait for a check in time. Planned to check out around 11 PM The that day for our flight. "We could not have dreamt of a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip. The place is beautiful, nested among trees at the end of a road and along the river. Our room was brand new, comfortable and colorful. The bathroom was open to the exterior giving you the impression of showering outdoor, while the Air conditioning inside keeps you cool. "this is a small hotel but needs to improve on maintenance big time. Dining hall greets you as you enter the hotel and its full of flies and bad smell, probably from the garbage room beside elevator. took a peek in the kitchen and its filthy. linens are stained and dirty linens lying around everywhere in the corridor. If they can maintain it well, this could be an excellent budget hotel."
