"Fantastic stay at Elivi. Facilities were fantastic and the hotel grounds are stunning. Impeccable buggy service around the grounds. Upgraded when we arrived and had our own pool. The restaurants were great, only negative was that the restaurants were very empty for dinner but that was more because it was end of season. Only criticism was that the bars by the beaches closed at 6pm and we wanted to sit with a drink and watch the sunset but no bars open. Again, think this is different in peak...

"We booked this property for end of September 2024 based on the reviews we read and we liked the look of the pool area. We was not disappointed. The staff were excellent and every request was met with a speedy response and the hotel was very clean. The pool was great with stunning views. However, to have these views you have to be prepared to climb some hills. Yes it was hard work but well worth the effort as the view is simply beautiful. "The 2 bedroom apartment we booked was quite spacious but sparsely decorated. The best thing of the accommodation was the lovely balcony and the view over towards the airport runway. The apartment itself had no cooker, toaster, coffee maker and very little cutlery and kitchenware. It also has a lot of steps up the front which is not well documented in the write up. Not at all good for even slightly less able people. "

"We had a great room with a sea view in the Rock. It is at the quiet end of the port area with a lovely local bakery walkable. No amenities in the building as it’s like a nice apartment block but everything we needed in our room and very tasteful decor. "

"Great location! The property was clean, basic rooms but cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Air con was a bonus. Pool area great for Skiathos town. Only downside for me was the bathroom a bit dark and could do with a revamp…shower screen instead of curtain. But wouldn’t put me off going back for sure! "

"The view was beautiful and the walk to town was a little over 20 minutes, that said our room had a terrible smell in the 'kitchen area closet' they tried to clean it on the second day but it smelled so bad we had to sleep with the door open. The rest of the room was clean, towels were very rough (maybe air dried). I wish I could score it higher but the smell (like a dead animal) really ruined our stay, it was good we were gone most of the day. "

"Room newly done to a very good standard. Pool and area very relaxing. All kept beautifully clean. Breakfast delightful. Dinner good - orange cake a 'must'! Staff exceptional - welcoming and helpful. "Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "
