Firstly …What VIP privilege was there supposed to be? I didn’t receive any. Secondly.. all the facilities stated for the hotel of “gym-pool-spa” are not free for hotel guests. You had to pay JPY 3300 for 2 hours access. The facility of “laundry” is a dry cleaning / laundry service and not a laundry room. I think it’s fair for hotels to choose what they want to offer but please state it clearly in your app. I wouldn’t have booked this hotel had I known all these were as such.

I've stayed at this hotel several times while on business in Kokura. Im usually very satisfied as this hotel is in a very convenient location with easy public parking just across the road. Unfortunately this time I was assigned a smoking room on a smoking floor. I don't smoke, so the odor was overpowering. Additionally, there was an ongoing party or other loud disturbance on the same floor, which prevented me from getting much sleep. Not happy.

"Huge rooms with beautiful views and an onsite Japanese garden super close to the monorail station connecting to the JR Kokura train station and other destinations. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The retro feel of the rooms may be a selling point to those who like that however."
