Ko Samet Holiday Rentals

"I arrived in late afternoon and found that I'd booked the wrong sized room, way to big for me. The staff were lovely and sorted it out in minutes. So really nice staff on site, friendly and helpful. The resort is directly opposite a seafood restaurant which I didn't rate, the food wasn't good. However there are a number of restaurants close by. The beach across the road is fabulous, enormous sandy beaches stretching into the distance with no one on them. The room itself was adequate. Basic with air conditioning, the bed quite comfortable and the pillows okay. There was a water heater flask for tea, but there were no tea bags. Luckily I'd brought my own. The lady on reception went and bought me some milk. I did ask if the shower was hot and was told it was but it was cold when i used it. I'm sure if I'd asked it would habe been sorted. I only stayed one night so it was fine. The breakfast was interesting with two jam sandwiches, a bit of scrambled egg and what I call a plastic sausage. Typical for many hotels in this part of the world. So all in all I'd describe the resort as adequate but the staff exceptional."

"Great property across the street from the beach With a restaurant bar that sits on the beach Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance Mostly thai food but some western. This hotel That's a nice pool. And great staff the morning buffet is good from seven a m to ten am. Overall, a very nice property for the money"

"This property is very isolated. If you don't have a vehicle do not stay here we found the food we found the food in the restaurant at night was quite reasonable. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. We would not eat anything and nothing was going to change. My brother went with bike to see if we could find a place to eat around the area and there was nothing way too isolated for people that don't have a vehicle. So we got a cab from the town of Chomphon and took off for hua hin the cab cost us ฿5500 plus we lost all the days at your resort four days we took off because the food was so bad"

"Clean room, comfortable bed, nice pools. Super quiet no background music. Personally would like some music in the background while having dinner or drinks. Partner ordered a pizza which was obviously a frozen one. Wouldn't recommend one. I had spring rolls and they were good. Overall a nice stay."

"We arrived in the midst of a thunderstorm and had no issues getting organized and staying in our room. The front office staff organized a taxi to the ferry for us which was a life saver. Excellent spot "

"Hotel was charming with a unique decor - staff very accommodating and friendly. View wonderful and a homey feel with the two dogs that were present. Only concern was that air conditioner was working to full potential in the room I stayed in for one night. I would highly recommend the De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon , Thailand."
