One of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Rooms are so primitive that they have "open air" windows that have no ability to close. As a result, it's always noisy inside the room.

It's on the edge of a busy part of the island. The rooms are simple. They get cleaned regularly, and for the price, it's great. It's walkable to almost anywhere. It's quiet at night, and the staff is eager to help you in anyway

I booked a fan room and the room was terrible all broken and no hot water for shower on website they show photos of air condition room and i paid 850 bath for every night area near you can find with that price aircondition room

Shocking the day we arrived a guest checking out said that the water made him ill from showering me bring me thought that can’t be true must have drank some only to come down with a serious illness for two days and moved resorts due to the dirty shower water

The hotel was ok but not fantastic. The rooms are humid, no cleaning during 3 days, the mattresses are really hard and the walls are pretty thin so you here your neighbourhood partying every night. The price was ok but pretty sure you can find better.

The customer service was great but the cleanliness of the room, bathroom, sheets, and towels left much to be desired. The sheets and towels looked worn and stained from use. The bathroom and shower are combined so everything gets wet when you shower. There’s no hot water, not like you’d want a hot shower in a tropical island in a room with no air conditioning. Opening and shutting the door of the first room I was given upstairs was near impossible so I asked for a different room and the staff immediately accommodated me without any issues. The staff are beautiful, helpful, and friendly but the rooms are underwhelming. The hotel suggests that you leave no valuables in your room and they have lockers outside for you to use but you need to have your own padlock. The location is great, you’re close to the main beaches and bars, about a four minute walk, but far away enough to have no noise! You’re also right next to the Phi Phi lookout point. Overall, this place is ok to stay at for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t recommend it for any longer.

It was just ok. We booked as there were decent reviews so we had a place to stay our first night. Did some hunting and found a nicer room with a better bed and a mini fridge for 150b less and went there. Nothing wrong with the place, but boots on the ground I found a better deal elsewhere.

Best of a bad bunch in Koh Phi Phi. We enjoyed the outside seating area and the air comfort of the air conditioning, but overall found the room to be rather tired. Particularly disappointing was the musty smell inside. However, the location was excellent, if a little noisy on the ground floor as people walked past late at night.

Nice room, fairly quiet, great location and staff
The hotel was basic, but clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff is very, very helpful and welcoming. The area is just far enough away from the bars and restaurants to be quiet most of the time, but still easy access to everything. It was not the fault of the hotel, but it was very loud one night because other guests. All told if we go back to Phi phi later in our trip we would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT BOOK this hotel. Dirty and smelly.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s not worrh your money. Very dirty hotel. Toilet not flushing. Dirty bedsheets and towels. Very unpleasant smell in and out of the hotel. Location is dirty. Very poor and smelly surroundings.

For the Price this place was good. We stayed here three or four nights (I can’t remember). It’s relatively clean for a hostel on phi phi. It’s safe, good location, just far enough from the main strip that you actually sleep at night.

Pleasant stay at Coco’s. Check in was quick and easy, staff were friendly and spoke really good English. Free water bottle upon check in. Room was spacious, private bathroom and there was a fan. Location was good for us as it’s set back from the main road, meaning it was quieter when it came to sleeping! About 10/15 minute walk from the ferry. Downside would be cold showers and no ac. We also extended our stay three times and they didn’t make us change rooms which was really helpful! Would recommend.

Bad experience, uncomfortable stay
Unfortunately this is one of the worst hotels i’ve stayed in during a lot of travelling. There are a few positives however unfortunately these were hugely outweighed by negatives. POSITIVES- lovely friendly reception staff, free welcome water and cold wipe cloth on arrival, hotel close to bars/shops/restaurants/beach all in 5-10 minutes but location still quiet. That’s about the only positives. NEGATIVES- door not long enough for height and holes in bathroom wall so insects come into the room (lizards!!!, spider the size of my palm and countless mosquitos and ants) I was terrified!, bathroom is built on septic tank so it smells so badly of sewage all day in the entire room (i couldn’t bare to be in the room at all except sleep), no hot water in the shower, the whole place seems dirty because it is so run down and old there is marks on everything and the insects dont help, sheets had stains on, i felt dirtier showering in the bathroom than not showering at all!, WiFi is also very bad and intermittent, I had to go to local cafes to make travel bookings or facetime relatives because it is so slow. Overall I had quite an uncomfortable stay and I was very glad to leave. If you can I would recommend you stay somewhere else (I’ve heard similar properties in the price range are better). Thanks to the reception staff for always being so friendly and greeting us when we walk past though!

Pros:Coco's Guest House was great value for the money paid. It was close enough to the "party beach" but far away enough as well to avoid all the extra noise. The check in was easy, we were able to check in earlier, the staff was very friendly. Cons: the bed was very hard -which I disnt mind because it was perfect for my back but my friend found it uncomfortable. The sheets were very tin, we had to lower the AC to make sure we werent cold. Other than that it was great
