We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this resort. Having read a lot of reviews, we were a bit nervous about what to expect, however, we were warmly welcomed by the family who run the resort, and our beachfront bungalow, whilst rustic, was clean and comfortable. The air con worked well. The showers are outside, but we didn't have any issue with mosquitoes when showering. Mosquito nets were provided on our bed, and the decking area overlooking the sea was lovely. Food was great! Very cheap compared to other islands and very nice. Beers were also a good price. Do not expect luxury - this is a small, family-run, laid-back accommodation. Nature everywhere. All of the resorts are next to each other and you can use the bars/restaurants at any of these. It's a very quiet island, restaurants (Dugong, Libong Beach) close around 9pm. If you are looking for the 'old Thailand' and want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Due to tide times, sometimes you cannot swim directly in front of the resort. You can hire scooters and book trips if you want to - we chose just to relax for a few days instead. There is an ATM in a village and contrary to some blogs written, the Thai mobile network DTAC does work here, as well as AIS. They will also arrange a longtail boat to the next island if you are island-hopping as we are. If you're happy to not stay in luxury, try the beachfront bungalows here...
