"We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. The staff helped us arrange day trips, car hire and laundry. But most importantly, they always greeted us with friendliness and made us feel extremely welcome. Our trip included stays in fantastic resorts in ko lipe and ko phi phi as well as ko lanta but it was here we felt and amazing connection to the people and staff. Sak, the manager, was really friendly to us and we had some great chats about life on ko lanta. I also had some jokes with the receptionists including Hah. And Pen, one if the owners was really fair with us when plans dictated we had to leave a day earlier than scheduled. In 4 days we hired a car and toured the whole island in a day, visited an ethical elephant sanctuary which was an unbelievable experience and got some well needed rest and relaxation time in. When we left earlier than breakfast time they made us a simple take away breakfast the night before! If you want to just relax in paradise definitely visit ko lanta and definitely stay at Lanta Miami! It’s a great resort and private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the Thai streets. "We enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Beach Resort very much. The staff are kind, observant and diligent. The facilities are highly maintenanced and both indoor and outdoor areas are kept clean, even the beaches are being swept, an effort that are highly apreciated. And most importantly, the kitchen there is really doing a great job. In all, we had a really time there."

"Excellent resort and island. The food at this resort was the best of several that we tried. Prices are reasonable. Staff are great. The island of Koh Kradan is spectacular. Beach is lovely and one can swim to the reef for snorkeling. No entertainment, a plus for us but maybe not for others."

"The Reef resort was lovely as were the staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. They pride themselves on their scuba diving and beautiful reef which can be accessed using the paddle boards or kayaks which are free to use. This island is very small and underdeveloped which was our main reason for visiting, and while the Reef resort was amazing an adult only option would have been a better choice for us. If you are a family travelling with children you will not be disappointed "

"Nirvana Beach Resort and Spa is set in a wonderful location at the end of one of the longest beaches on Koh Lanta. We were in a beachfront single bedroom villa with private pool with the beach right in front of us. The room and facilities were excellent although there is no Spa on site. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, doing all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The gardens are also a great feature of the property. We enjoyed an excellent choice of food at breakfast, our only criticism being that the coffee needs to be stronger and some of the juices available appeared to be a little watered down. Along the beach there are a great range of laid-back bars and restaurants to stroll to, barefoot on the sand. The sun sets literally right in front of your eyes. We are fortunate to have enjoyed holidays in many places around the world and Nirvana is right up there amongst the best places we have stayed at. It is not a stereo-typical five star hotel along the lines of a Banyan. It is a very relaxed, unique place to stay. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking good value, great hospitality and a wonderful location."

"Was an enjoyable stay. Property is divided into a beachfront area with pools and restaurants and the actual lodging area on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Our lodgings were a decent walk from the beachfront. Would have been a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues. They provide a shuttle service but that can be unreliable at certain times of the day though. Overall would still recommend though. Family enjoyed the beach a lot. "
