"We enjoyed our stay as it’s a beautiful beach and has lovely gardens. Some parts of the hotel are showing their age and it needs some maintenance. The lightning could be improved as well. Checkin could be a more friendly experience no welcome drink etc and told to go and wait even though we were only 15 mins early. The staff cannot control the management of Sun beds with towels on them at 7 am yet the people are in having breakfast used towels left on sun beds all day yet people have finished...

"I love White Sand Beach Resort. I have been here many times in many different seasons and this time it was clearly out of season and quiet. A lone monkey visitor graces us with his presence on occasion. I love the fact that the huts are in the beach and a few steps from the sea. Yes, the huts are plain and simple but everything you need is there. You can sleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the same sound. "We loved the location, service, sea views and common areas of this property. Even though there isn’t a beach to relax on, chairs and tables along the shoreline allow beautiful and relaxing views, especially at sunset. You can sit by the pool, in the gardens, or on the bar deck next to the shore. Easy walk to a few shops, bars and restaurants. Pleasant breakfast too. "

"Check in was OK although we arrived early they couldn't give us a room till 1300. Room was nice 50 meters from the beach (C22) 25 meters from the pool that was under heavy renovation and closed, we were able to use an alternate pool during our 7 nights stay, gym was good, hotel restaurant was awesome at sunset, food tasty and they have a nightly fire show . Morning breakfast was very good plenty of options that was replenished all constantly, overall a very pleasant experience "

"The friendly and very helpful staff at the Dewa made our stay perfect! We rented scooters and explored all over the area, many cool restaurants and funny bars and dispensaries around nearby. And waterfalls to check out too. With the scooters you can get much more of a picture of local life also, you can take side roads. Really fun. "We loved the place. The bungalow was nice and clean. Lots of choice for breakfast, cheap scooter rental (we had a brand new scooter), we even bought our transport back to Bangkok with them and it was the cheaper we found on the island. Ideal location 5 min walk to the best sunset beach, 10 minutes drive to white sand beach area and 10 minutes drive to lonely beach. Lots of restaurant in the area. We would stay there again. "
