"Beautiful place! Helpful staff. We needed an outlet adapter. They loaned us one. When we asked if there was anywhere nearby we could purchase one, they said, "no need to waste your vacation time looking for one." (Although it was used) they allowed us to purchase theirs. Incredibly thoughtful and considerate of our vacation! The hot tub wasn't working, which was disappointing, as it's one of the reasons we booked that place. "The hosts were so thoughtful. Walked us to the bus stop to show us the way, recommended restaurants, totally planned our trip to Luzern..even fixed us special tea for our allergy coughs we brought with us. Looking forward to staying there in the future."

"We really enjoyed our stay - located very close to the train station (where the airport bus also stops), and old town so super convenient. Very quiet despite being close to a road. Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. I would stay here again for sure"

"The interiors and room quality is excellent. However the hotel is in a shopping and restaurant centre so it feels very odd and there is a great deal of external noise. Our very large window looks out on to a service yard... That said the location in town is good, so fine for a one night stopover."

"This is a very attractive, modern hotel in a lovely older building. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. We appreciated the design and eco-friendly touches. The only downside was the room was very warm and the thermostat seemed unable to go below a set temperature. We had to open the windows to cool off. Otherwise, a really nice stay."
