"We loved the property. The views were breathtaking and despite the extreme weather, we were always very warm & cozy. The hot tub too was outstanding. The one thing I would have fixed would be the issue with the locks not actually locking. I understand it is a rural area with little to no crime, but as a foreigner from a place that has plenty of crime, it was a bit worrisome leaving for the day’s excursions with the knowledge that the door could not properly lock. Even still, nothing happened...

"This is a cute room to rent on a quiet farm. The only thing I would suggest is update some of the pictures of the actual building. We were confused when we arrived because the building we were staying in didn't look like any of the advertised pictures so we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Thankfully, they had signs guiding us to the right building. Also, we weren't fussy but some people may not be happy staying in an apartment attached to a farm garage. "

"Really interesting lodging! Beautuful viewing tower for seeing surnise, sunset, and northern lights. I would have preferred a more robust door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room but great otherwise. Really nice lighting and use of the space. Only 15 minutes drive from Secret Lagoon! "This is a very quiet property, and each "little house" is set so that you have privacy. The interior is very small - perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child - but we did end up putting our suitcases back in the car so we'd have a little more floor space. Check-in (and out) was easy. The house has a great view of the valley. We were hoping for clear night skies (which we did not have, but definitely not an issue of the property. Our rooms did look out over the tomato farm's...

"This was a fun night out in the middle of nowhere. A great location to stargaze or catch the northern lights if it's clear! The camper was in perfect shape, a big deck out front with lots of room for sitting outside. They are building things in the campground, it would be cool to see hot tubs go in!"

"Maybe one of our favorite places. Enough space for 5 of us. Very clean and neat and just enough furniture. Great hot tub with views. There were not very many food places nearby but we drove out for dinner. The kitchen was great too if you’d like to cook. Great sleep. Nice windows everywhere. "

"It was so nice! Very welcoming, comfortable, clean, and pretty. Amazing breakfast with a variety of choices. Easy to find, great restaurant nearby, close to the Secret Lagoon. The host offered travel advice as well."

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

One Night Stay

"We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very kind & helpful. Check-in was quick and our host gave us recommendations for supper. (The Historic Guesthouse restaurant down the road was great.) The rooms are a little small, but very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again."
