We reckoned it was the best place we stayed all trip and we stayed in some considerably pricier joints. Staff were accommodating to requests - pleasant and professional. "I would give 6 stars if I could. The hotel room and lobby areas are spotless. Staff are also very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast was tasty and wonderful. You get to store your luggage for free for the day of check in and check out so you could go sightsee carefree. Amenities include PJs, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc. Overall very very satisfied with our stay. We also got a water view room so that was a bonus. "

"Huge rooms with beautiful views and an onsite Japanese garden super close to the monorail station connecting to the JR Kokura train station and other destinations. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The retro feel of the rooms may be a selling point to those who like that however. "

"My experience at this hotel was a pleasant one. We walked from the Shin station. We arrived early and they happily checked our bags in while we went to Team Lab for entertainment. They helped arrange a Taxi to Team Labs for us. When we arrived back to the hotel, the check process was easy, even though I do not speak Japanese. They were very friendly and spoke English. The room was really clean and had pajamas and slippers for all 3 of us. I really liked their soaking tub and rose bath salts. "

Good and Convenience

"Close to Hakata Station, just 5 to 10 minutes straight walk. Room was clean and specious, had washing machine, microwave, fridge, induction cooker. It's convenience for those who stay for longer period. The hotel won't provide daily clean up services if you're staying less than 6 nights. Staffs were helpful and polite, most of them can speak good English."
