"The hotel is a collection of very old buildings that have been developed into a luxury hotel In a really sympathetic manner. Our room was spotlessly clean & really comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous with a lovely bath and a truly excellent shower. The hotel has a smallish (but very enjoyable to swim in) indoor pool & a gym and wellness centre, though we didn’t have the chance to try these. There is an excellent outdoor tennis court & table tennis table and plenty of free onsite parking....

"Unique property with traditional yet perfectly convenient interior fittings, lovely staff, good breakfast choices even for vegans. Only minor minus was that there was no kettle in the room."
