"The Memling hotel is just fine... the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and it is lovely to have an

However, there were tiny cockroaches in my room (although the cleaning staff are amazing! I think the cockroaches are just a product of the general decline of the hotel). "Maybe the best hotel in town, but more by lack of serious competition. Rooms are good and very clean, view on Congo river is very nice. High end rooms offer no additional superficy nor comfort, just access to a very poor lounge, so absolutely not worth the additional charge.
