"Central location with ample parking. Staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival. Check in was easy. Room was apportioned beautifully and extremely well equipped. Toiletries were lovely. Bed was comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean. As there is a fridge in the room I’d prefer to see small, recycle able cartons of milk rather than single use sachets of milk."

"Idea location for all types of travel and there is a good coffee shop in the garden centre and nice real pub that serves good food all within a 5 minutes walk. The airport is also within 10 minutes walking distance and the is ideal as a stay for early starts. The staff are very friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay even though it was only one night "

"Came up to watch football and visit family as was recommended to stay here. The room was so warm when we walked in and slept so well as it was so quiet. The staff were all lovely too :-) we will be back again next time we come visit "

"The location was ok, close to the Metro Centre & other shopping options. The room was a bit tired looking and SO hot, the options are having the heater on or off, theres no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. The bed was a double which was rather cosy! Probably my fault for not checking that on booking. Breakfast is included, it was ok. The hash browns were a bit soggy & the bacon was underwhelming. Staff at breakfast seemed more intent on loudly discussing their lives in the kitchen...

"Although i'm a local booked Valentines night to avoid late night taxi queues (i needn't have bothered Newcastle was very quiet). The hotel is close enough to the city centre but in a slightly quieter area. The staff were very friendly and our hotel room 419 was great, no bath but nice shower, clean and tidy. We tried the bar, still serving around midnight, again friendly staff. The breakfast was fine and nowhere near as busy as i expected. Would use the hotel again "

"The Newcastle staff were so great. Jessica checked us in and took the time to recommend a museum and show us how to get there on the map. Anna very cheerfully stored our bags for us while waiting for the train. Everyone so friendly. Hotel is a big worm but very clean and the spa/pool excellent (we went both in the evening and next morning!). Pleased to find we’d been upgraded and the room was about big enough for a herd of bison. All great value for money and we loved our stay. "
