DO NOT STAY HERE!! There are lots of reviews that are not in favor of this hotel - super noisy, no coffee/ tea in room, etc. BUT that’s not why I am suggesting you find another hotel. We booked the nicest room in John Street for a birthday/ anniversary celebration. We were really looking forward to this hotel and our stay. Upon check in we were told our room was given away and we were instead put in a lesser room in a different building (Pearl St). We were so disappointed in the room and that the hotel had given the room we booked to another guest with no forewarning. There were no apologies and the manager refused to speak with us. They gave us a bottle of wine and that’s it. Pearl St is extremely noisy and the next morning we decided to leave. When we finally spoke to the manager 2 days later she told us that we would not get a refund. This hotel is a scam and a fraud. We paid for the nicest room in the hotel and that’s not what was given to us. Beware - you may think you are picking the room you wish to stay in but they can give you any room they wish and they won’t apologize for it. It’s clear they don’t care about the customer or bad reviews! Trust me - plenty of other very nice hotels to stay in the area that will take care of you like a true guest.

What a wonderful hotel experience. Very nice room with an excellent mattress, pillows and bed linens. The hotel bar and restaurant were also excellent and the service was superb. Will absolutely stay here again when in Kingston.
