"Wonderful location, welcoming staff, bit noisy as we were over the deck above the kitchen, and think toilets underneath us had a macerator malfunctioning as it kept starting and stopping all night but nothing the staff could really do about that! Food was good and beaches nearby were lovely. Overall, very nice "

"Very easy self service checkin for a lovely room that had everything we could need for our stay. The venue is set in on a lovely farm with a great BBQ area and a short walk (30mins) down to a lovely local beach"

"The landlord was wonderful and willing to go the extra mile for his guests. The room was very comfortable and cosy, complete with a desk and chair. I didn't have a problem with the room's artwork depicting the female form, but I can see why this might not be to everyone's taste! The shower looked modern and worked really well, but no shower gel or shampoo was provided. The one thing that really bugged me was the dodgy Cloud wifi, which was both unsecure and unreliable. Worked ok in the pub but...

Scenic rambling.
"I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did.
You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around.
there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished bathroom.
There was some traffic noise as I had a bedroom in the front."

Comfortable and quiet. Will be booking again.
"Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected. "
