"We only stayed at the De Reve for 1 night because we were catching a cruise ship the next day. Istanbul is such a great city and we would love to come back and stay longer. If/when we do, we would definitely stay at the De Reve again. The hotel was amazing but the staff was even better! "Great location. Very friendly staff. This is a VERY small hotel. Only real issue, which is outside the hotel’s control, is that it is right next to a mosque, which blares the morning call to prayer over loudspeakers at sunrise every day, which was 5:12am when we visited. It goes on for a long time and is impossible to sleep through. Beware if you don’t plan to get up at that time. "

"Amazing location and good value. The room had everything I needed and was solid but small. Good shower and comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful - made restaurant reservations, booked taxis and were overall pleasant. Only negatives: no ambient sound and sadly, the room was totally clean when I checked in BUT there was some old pee on the toilet seat. I let the front desk know and they offered to switch my room but I had already started to unpack so they sent housecleaning...
