Pros: The staff is very friendly. The location was convenient. Cons: Property is under construction. You can hear everything in the hallways. No “do not disturb” signs to put on doors.

The door to our room had a strange weighted mechanism that causes the door to slam with extra force. We did have very pleasant service by the woman who ran the breakfast area two different days. She was very nice.

Great staff
Amazing staff at this hotel! So friendly and accommodating! The rooms are large and well appointed. I deducted one star as the bed and pillows were so hard I could barely sleep. The pillows are all the 1/2 pillows and we’re very difficult to sleep on. If I stay here again, I will definitely bring or buy my own pillow. Other than that the hotel is wonderful and in an excellent location.

I liked the fact that it was a completely inside facility, the staff was friendly and always greeted guests with a smile. Having breakfast available for guests in the morning was a huge plus. The property was right behind a Chilis Restaurant and there were other options less than a mile drive. Wal-Mart was also conveniently across the street. While there is not a whole lot going on in Kilgore Texas the town was clean and the Hotel was located pretty close to any attractions Kilgore has to offer. Also it was a fully non smoking facility. There was a place for people who wanted to smoke to step outside.
