"We were here for 1 night arriving during the air traffic control issue and this was a stop over for Eurostar. So limited exposure. The room we had was fine, it was clean but is well worn, you can see it in everything. Bed was comfy and for the few hours we were there it was fine, i wouldn't want to stay for any longer. The real downside is the local area it is horrific and i don't think that even does it justice. I'm not one to feel intimidated but this is bad gangs of men/youths hanging...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Hotel. There was some mix-up with our booking, but the staff was very professional and did their best to help us. Anne, the hotel manager, surprised us and upgraded our room to a beautiful suite overlooking the city due to the delay in check-in. They didn’t need to do that, but all of the staff we encountered were very kind. Thank you, again! I typically don’t do reviews, but I would highly recommend the stay there, as it is a very clean, quiet hotel in a safe area, close to public transport, and walking distance to many sites, shopping, and restaurants. The staff, as mentioned above, went above and beyond and made our stay in Brussels a memorable one. "
