"The staff at the 1802 Inn were welcoming and made us feel comfortable upon arrival. The inn was quaint, decorated for autumn, perfect for an October visit. Joanna and Lars were sociable and never hesitated to sit and chat with my husband and me. This inn does feel like home. "

"First off, I’ll say that the staff was fabulous at this property and went over and beyond to be kind and helpful & the dinner we had was wonderful. My only disappointment was the lack of relaxing spaces outside of our room. There is a “living room” and an outdoor gas firepit, but for the cost of the hotel it felt like there should be more than 1 spot to cozy up and read a book by a fire. "Parking was convenient. Hotel is beautiful and located right in the middle of things. Room was very nice and staff friendly. As others have mentioned there really is no area to eat breakfast so you can sit in the gallery nearby or take it to your room. Still a very pleasant visit. I recommend the small Irish pub across the street for the live music and the brewery next door which has a small menu but excellent food. "

"Beautiful old house on quiet street within walking distance of Kennebunkport centre. The house is full of character and has welcoming hosts. The room (The Study) was downstairs and we were the only guests that night, so was very peaceful. Breakfast was cooked by Chris and was delicious. Will definitely stay here again when we have the chance. "

"How very quaint! A wonderful overnight stay at this very charming oceanfront inn. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and a cheese and fruit offering. Our room was perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was also included in our stay ~ the dining area was to die for with full view of the ocean. A must return for a longer stay!"

"I had an amazing view of the beach Atlantic from my room. I was as close to the beach as you can get! I especially enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves all night. It made me sleep so good. Other than hearing the people next to our room until 3am with their television loud, everything else was great. I met Pierre who was so sweet and friendly. We came from Texas and felt welcomed. We'll definitely come again!"
