"The hotel is fine and the location suited us. It was frustrating that when we booked there was very limited possibility for reserving a meal. I was surprised they didn't keep a few tables for residents. But there's plenty locally and it wasn't an issue. Friendly staff, plentiful parking, clean, warm. All good. "

"This was a perfect get away , so peaceful . We stayed in stable 1 , two adults and our dog. Lovely comfy beds and pillows, duvet. Enough room for shorter stay. Everything was catered for . We had a lovely fire pit and BBQ outside the stable which we used . Views are amazing . Lovely pub a short walk down the road called the Punch Bowl , lovely food, wines, staff were so friendly . "Step inside Augill Castle and just let yourself enter an almost Alice in Wonderland world. Feel like a Tudor king having a toilet break on an old fashioned wooden loo. "We chose this hotel for its location it was convenient for all our needs.The hotel was quiet and clean and the staff were very pleasant and greeted you when coming or going from the property...it also had a swimming pool but we didnt use it this time .overall the room was clean and comfortable and had a kettle for tea and coffee making and a complimentary bottle of still and sparkling water .We will definitely be staying at the hotel again in the future"
