"We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change. "We went for a three day break after new year. The hotel was slightly busier than we or the staff expected which created a great atmosphere. The hotel is rooms above a restaurant/Pub, neither of which can be heard when you get to your room which was a real pleasant surprise. The residents lounge area at the front of the pub is a great idea, when the log fires are on it really is a great place to relax with a drink and let the dog sleep after a days walking.
