"Located next to subway station, with convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, the staffs are nice, especially when dealing with customers who speak Japanese. The staffs don't speak English and can sometimes com across as cold when dealing with foreign customers. The hotel is clean. Don't use the washing machine here, it can only handle a few small pieces of clothes, anything more than that can turn into a disaster. "

"Beautiful views (my room was river side) and excellent service and amenities. On property breakfast option was great - we went between 7 and 7:30 and didnt find it too crowded. Easy walk to train station. Bit further out from dotonbori area but this meant it was nice and quiet with the exception of being able to hear the trains."

"The room was surprising big. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Walking distance to Kyoto Castle and the subway."

"Everything was great. The entrance to the hotel closes from midnight to 5 am. You are able to exit but not enter so you wouldn't be able to have late night adventures if that is something you wanted to do. Other than that, everything is great. They are clean, the size of the room is decent, there's a place to do laundry, close to Kitahama station, and walkable. There's also a 7/11 right across the hotel which made it convenient for us to do a quick run. I would stay here again. "
