"Very clean, except roach found this morning snacking on our cookie crumbs. I was told that all the rooms had been fumigated yesterday, though. It took a very long time to get hot water at the shower and sink, and the breakfast was very skimpy, but the room was well-heated and had a nice-sized mini-fridge, which appeared new and clean."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff was amazing, the room was spacious and had a fireplace and whirlpool tub. The dining options were great and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious. The property is well maintained and there are lots of trails to walk around. "

"Great place, convenient for skiing at Frost and Boulder. There are a few gas stations and fast food places around. Nice hotel breakfast. The staff was very accommodating when I found out I had mistakenly reserved the wrong room size. They accommodated my new request quickly and without fuss. WIll stop here again."

Great visit at Split Rock

"Requested different accommodations this visit and our room was just perfect. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful and courteous. We had two great nights at Split Rock. WE did not use the restaurant facilities since we like to go to two of our favorite restaurants which are: Terra-Cottage and for a casual dinner Shenanigans. Also, there is a great market at the Hub on the hotel grounds."
