"Comfortable rooms surrounded by lush gardens on a hillside by the sea. We were pleasantly surprised by the extent of the facilities and found the room to support a good night’s sleep. We were impressed by the outstanding views of the bay from the restaurants, with a dramatic, beautiful mountainous backdrop. Very relaxing, and even the gym had fabulous views. The is a grocery/souvenir shop just outside the complex, and the property runs along the beach. There are a few other restaurants along the coast. It might have been nice to have some complimentary soft drinks in the minibar. It would be useful if there were some road signs to the property, to enable guests to find the correct car park (satnav directs drivers to the beachside entrance). "

"Lovely hotel in an excellent location, the room is small but has everything you need for a short break . The shower was really small so larger people may struggle in there but the water pressure was great and a lovely rain shower too. We booked a sea view room which as we were on the 1st floor this was only if you looked to the side , the balcony is also small but we still really enjoyed our stay, as we were only there 2 nights we didn’t ask for a different room. "

"Thalassa Boutique was the perfect resort for our stay in Kafalonia. The only amenity that would have been helpful would have been an ATM machine. A small gum would have been nice too. Overall hour 9 night, 10 day was superb."

"What an absolute gem. We enjoyed such a relaxing stay, truly exceptional warm friendly hospitality right through from arrival to departure. Reception, restaurant and all support staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast selection and service outstanding. We ate in the restaurant a few lunch and evenings, fabulous food, mouthwatering daily specials expertly described, plus excellent speciality cocktails, even extra ice arrived magucally when loynfing by the pool. Stunning views, location amazing, lovely traditional village, grear selection of places to eat drink, hire a boat, without being too touristy - perfect for relaxation and great Greek hospitality. Absolutely loved it - hope to return many times!"

"Apartments were traditional basic Greek, as we expected. But we’re clean and perfectly adequate for what we wanted. The pool and loungers were wonderful - a real key attraction. Not too busy and easily got a longer even in the middle of August. At the pool bar, the food and service was great. Only minor comments are that the bar could be pricey - certainly not somewhere you would want to purchase from all day. But we knew this from other reviews. Also, it is up a big hill. But it is manageable if you are of reasonable fitness, but you wouldn’t want to do it multiple times a day, particularly with kids. So just plan for it!! Taxis were about 7 euros. All in all a wonderful holiday! Thanks!"

"Old box TV, no channels working, a waste of time having it in the room. Furniture in room rundown, no clothes hangers. The bed was very comfortable. Swimming pool was nice, needs more seating areas & lounge beds. No restaurant/food, snacks or water available on site, you need to drive to get these. Dinner & Breakfast needs to be pre booked in advance when not purchased in a package. Internet was ok. Heaps of parking available. "
