"The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature (if you don’t have a car then it takes a couple of hours to see the local sights).
The rooms are traditional with great views, and super authentic.
The set dinners and breakfasts are the best I’ve had, and were something to look forward to.
There is a selection of onsens including the opportunity to hire private ones for those who aren’t confident of sharing more public pools.
A highlight of the trip so far"
"My stay in Koriyama was so fun and convenient. The hotel was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very kind. Super convenient checkout too! Thank you! "
"Convenient for the station, eating and shopping. Room was too hot...air conditioning did not seem to work at all until my final day. Friendly and helpful staff"
"We stayed here for two nights and had a comfortable and convenient experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Although we didn’t have the free breakfast, there were plenty of great options available that would suit a wide range of tastes. The staff had a good understanding of basic English, which made communication smooth.
The location was excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to a variety of food venues. The only downside was that the bed was quite firm and the pillows weren't the most comfortable. Other than that, it was a great base for exploring Fukushima and we’d happily stay again for a short trip."
