"Casa San Juan is not a Marriot or a Hilton, but that’s the best part! The owners & staff are amazing and the place has so much charm! Johnny at the restaurant will take excellent care of you! The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet was the best! Valladolid was our first stop in the Yucatán Casa San Juan was our first hotel. We spent a month in the Yucatán and we missed Casa San Juan after our 3 night stay there! We walked everywhere in Valladolid! That being said, there a plenty of taxis...

"The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect :) had everything you needed. There was also a closeline out the back door for drying clothes that was really handy (And hammock hooks in the room which was cool). The yard is beautiful and has tons of greenery, birds and gheckos. Frida Kahlo the cat that lives there is very friendly and cute. :) The door also had multiple lock options and felt very safe, and the property was only a 10 minute walk from the city center. "
