"The resort in older but well maintained and well kept, incredibly picturesque. The only negative might be the hill and stairs you need to navigate to get to the beach. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. It didn't affect us but it might be a issue for some. All of that said, I realize that the resort can't really help it but maybe making it obvious to travelers would be helpful. "

"We had 2 rooms on second floor for a family visit in the August long weekend. Both rooms were clean and newly painted. Small rooms but cleaned well and everything comfortable for a stay."

"We had a wonderful time at Deerhurst !! The staff is so accommodating. Everything you need is right there. I will never rent a cottage again, hauling half the house to the cottage !! Considering the prices of motels in Huntsville this time of year , for a bit extra , you get all the amenities. "

"Nice cottages, grounds and amenities. The lake is great for young kids, and there are lots of kayaks, canoes, SUP to take on a sheltered lake."
