Regretfully this hotel is hotel is situated right next door to a 'Disco' playing techno music from 1100-0400 and even though my room was furthest away the sound was deafening.....shame as the rooms are OK and clean but not of a 4 star standard.
Breakfast selection was poor
Centrally located to suit most guests needs.
Guest accommodations as depicted in photos.
Breakfast lunch dinner menus are satisfactory.
Customer service is praise worthy.
Manager Rishi is professional & seeks to satisfy guests' preferences beyond expectation.
The first day experience was pethetic the rooms which were booked for us were given to somebody else and we had to stay in small, stinking rooms, after so much of requests and arguments we were shifted the next day. Breakfast was very tasteless and horrible, same was served each day. Overall experience was very bad, some staff were friendly and well mannered. They need to be educated on cleanliness.
This place has a lot of conveniences. It location is nice. The front desk staff is very friendly and nice. The room was very spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. I had to leave before they served breakfast, however they took the time to wrap something up for me before I left for breakfast. They took the extra step in customer service. There is a restaurant near by that you should eat at called Sam's one tree cafe. The food is great.

Rooms and Hotel was ok but the service was really good
A Hotel with a great location and great staff! I liked the spacious room very much, it had a lot of space for working and to have dinner in my room. The WiFi my great and working all the time. The view of swimming pool from my room was great.
Overall it was a great stay in Kathmandu. Highly recommended to all.
It was a great beautiful stay at Hotel Woodland Kathmandu. Every thing they provide is a great value of money. It was a great pleasure to meet the Manager Mr. Rishi. He helped me discover restaurants and things of attractions nearby. I visited the Royal Palace Museum, it was wonderful to be there. I will definitely come back again. Thank you Woodland team for the great stay.
It was all expectations met trip. I can recommend every business traveler to book and stay at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and courteous to help every time.
I will definitely stay here whenever at Kathmandu.
The staff was super accommodating and friendly. They make you feel like you are the only guests at the hotel! The suite was perfect, with a beautiful cross breeze of the best air in Kathmandu. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was perfect, nice touch with the shower. It is pricey but worth the location, staff and breakfast.
The staff are amazing. Mr."Rishi" is always for sure ready to help us in any way possible. "Sagar" at the front office was extra ordinary. The location was perfect with lots of activities to do around.
The staff is fantastic. Everyone went out of their way to help and make the stay pleasant. Loved the quiet location in busy Kathmandu. We were offered upgrade to suite at same rate; large rooms; nice city view, comfortable bed. Large bathroom with hot shower. Continental breakfast. 24 hr room service.
The staff was extremely friendly! For the price of the room we upgraded to have access to their business class. Completely worth it! Every morning we had free breakfast with a beautiful view of the pool. The room was upgraded to a higher floor and also had a great view of the city! Also the staff went above and beyond and delivered a hand-written note to congratulate us on our anniversary! They sent us dessert and champagne! The hotel itself is stunning and centrally located ! One of the nicest and modern properties I've stayed at! Highly recommend this to anyone!
1) No hot water. Have to keep the tap open for 10-15 mnts to get some hot water. And then it becomes cold again!!!
2) The shower plumbing is so bad. Height of the shower is just some 5.5 feet. How can a tall person take shower?? Height of the bathroom is too short.
3) Very bad wifi. Extremely unstable. Don't even think of connecting to a vpn.
4) They advertise that gym is there. But there is no gym.
5) If you book from hotels.com, they will not provide you the invoice copy !!
Every thing I found great about this hotel, from the check in process to the bell boy who helped us with our luggage and escort us to our room. The room was perfect for us and view was amazing. I have no complain with the breakfast, we was worth for what we have paid. Just a little to say, it could have been much more varieties. Rishi is an amazing man who runs the hotel, he helped us with all our kathmandu sight seeing and a perfect trip.
I definitely would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and relatives.
Thank you woodland for such a great stay!
Staff were incredible, right from the start when Ram checked us in to staff helping us with our bags and directions to get on our way. We had asked for a quiet room as we are light sleepers and this was noted at check in and we were upgraded to a room with a pool view. Given we'd just flown 25 hours we were incredibly grateful and the room was silent. Though the room is small it's incredibly well designed meaning you can keep your things organised and even with 2 big check in suitcases we could move around fine. The cleaning service was impeccable and the view from our room is breathtaking! The area is great and the day at the Museum was unforgettable. It's a beautiful hotel and we'd definitely stay next time we are in Nepal. Thanks to Rishi and the team, a perfect hotel!
A very nice hotel's location near almost everything you need. A very talented management and services from the security man through the friendly receptionists and generl director end to the house keeping.
Breakfast is awsome all kind of variety of food . Coffee and tea is not as perfect as supposed to , hope they can offer a decent made one.

Very friendly staff. Close to shopping area. Bathroom and toilet not separated which caused water to be distributed across the floor is my only complaint. Good 3 star hotel.
