"It’s a bit of a walk up to the old town, where most of the restaurants and bars are located. But we chose it because it is close to the ferry port, which was very convenient for catching an early-morning ferry. The hotel itself is very new and modern, and extremely clean!"

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

"We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Koutouloufari Village Holiday Club. The apartment was fantastic, the pool area was lovely and quiet and the location was amazing - there are so many great restaurants all within walking distance. Staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do more for you, the whole place completely exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was great, I’d recommend including this on booking as it’s expensive to pay daily. Can’t wait to come back, thank you!"

"The hotel sent us detailed information regarding check in, parking, and bus services to Heraklion. The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel because we thought we would have difficulty of finding parking in Old Town of Heraklion. The hotel paid for the public parking. "Fantastic place to stay. Great location. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the 'Superior House' which is actually an apartment. It had everything you need, microwave, fridgefreezer, hot plate, kettle, iron, ironing board etc. The beds were large and comfy and first class air con. Thoroughly recommended!"

"This hotel has the makings of a great place to holiday. It is close to the resort, just a five minute walk on the flat. The rooms are adequate, may be not 4* and quite dark, certainly not as they appear on the website. Breakfast is ok but is the same every day and after a week is a bit repetitive. Bathrooms great as not all in Greece are. Main letdown was the sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and need replacing to a 4* hotel standard. There isnt enough of them either, but there isn't...
