"The location was great, easy 5 min walk to subway and bus. Only 15 mins to market and shopping. The room was comfortable and a good size for Japanese standards. It is nice to have a kitchenette and there was free water. We only received 1 towel each and had to ask for extra towels which was not a problem. I asked for an extra pillow and they did not have any, that is a first and very unfortunate since it made my sleeping less comfortable."

"The staff was very friendly, communicated very well in English (which is rare in Japan hotels) and assisted us with our needs every single time. The room and amenities were also wonderful. Overall, great experience."

"Fantastic room with ample storage space. Modern decor, very clean bathroom, separate toilet/vanity/shower. We had 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 child and it still felt roomy. Great to have a kitchenette also so we could heat up meals and buy groceries. Close to bus stops with buses only a10 minute ride to Central Kyoto. Loved our stay there! Would book this place on our next trip to Kyoto."

"Good hotel located on the Hachijo side of Kyoto Station. It’s literally across the street from the station making it very convenient. There are plenty of dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. The Aeon Mall is located right around the corner. The room was spacious by Japanese standards and had good amenities. The price was very reasonable, too."

"Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and come stay here again. Property was in great location, clean and modern. Probably one of the best bed and pillow I’ve been in a hotel. Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, it was less catered to ‘western’ but others seemed to like it. Toaster took too long (it was one of those toasters like mini oven where you have to put bit of water in etc. overall loved this hotel!"
