"Convenient checkin. Great staff. They helped get our laundry washed and also helped secure a good taxi rate for 1 day of touring. The place is exactly as advertised; a private A/C room in a beautiful home, which has been converted into a hotel with shared public space. Close to old Delhi, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very busy and loud. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. We had to check out early, didn’t try the breakfast. "

"We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Very old building with poor plumbing. Water puddles in bathroom after a shower. Water doesn't drain as the drains in the bathroom are not located at the lowest part of the floor. Window blinds were very old and dusty and. View thru' the window of surrounding buildings is even worse. Breakfast at the terrace is a joke. Only saving grace was the service from the front desk, but that couldn't make up for the poor condition of the hotel. Looks like...

"Mainly I will say that we didn’t stay in the blue pearl. When we got to the blue pearl it was closed, undergoing renovations. The owner who was sitting there sent us over to another one of his open hotels, karat 87, down the way in another rickshaw. A bit of confusion I’d say."

"Overall below par experience. Rooms are too small, when asked to accommodate us in a bigger room they replied that the room is infact a premium room and not an executive one that we had booked. There is no space for anything in the room except a bed. Not even space to store your luggage in the room, Fortunately, we were on a business trip and packed light. Although they offered an alternate room, the size of the room was almost identical and we didnt feel like moving since we had already...
