Good for the cost. Nice friendly staff, clean sheets and bathroom. Good breakfast was included Room was a little tricky to navigate, like a cold tree house! Upgrade if any disabilities apply, and my room had no ocean view, but others did. Quite beach almost to myself (off season), and they rent snorkel gear, but it’s all rocks so grab a chair. Nicely located in between a lot of beaches, dive shops, cafes and restos. Amed is one long road, motorbike recommended. Terima Kasiih!!

Great little rustic lodge right on the beach. Loved the location and the Japanese influence. Plenty of restaurants close by. Walking distance to sunset point beach club which is an awesome place to watch a sunset. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious also!

Cozy and special

Small boutique hotel with only 7 chalets. There are only 7 staff but they are super helpful and friendly. Very much a family feel. All are great! And I will come back again if I come to this part of Bali.

My daughter and I had a fabulous stay. Walkable to restaurants or lovely to stay and eat overlooking the beach. Food was great. The staff were over the top helpful , warm , and fiendly. Stayed 5 days felt like home but better.

Authentic Bali

I got what I was looking for. A peaceful authentic Bali style hotel right on the beach. The staff were attentive when needed. My large deck looking out to sea was brilliant

Great affordable lodging on the beach in a central location. Remember it’s a lodge…not a hotel. We loved it! Breakfast & dinner on the beach… nice large clean pool…amazing staff…beach chairs and snorkeling. Some units have stairs that are steep so if that’s a problem book a ground floor cabin.

Creative room design

The bungalow was designed a bit like a treehouse with 3 floors, so you still got a view to the ocean. Even though it was not beachfront, I slept to the sound of the waves.

Property was lovely but unfortunately each day other guests occupied the beach dining area from sun up to sun down and beyond and very dominant talking. A bit more attention to other guests privacy would be better.

The staff were excellent. Beds were firm. Showers had lots of hot water. Things that I didn’t like were no sun loungers/ bean bag chairs to relax on. If you wanted to sit by the ocean then you had to sit at tables and chairs in the dining area. Pool had no seats unless you were in room Sindhu. At breakfast my toast came out cold-since that was all I ordered it was very disappointing. Internet in the room was non existent. Only good reception was the dining area. The rooms had low lightening. No outlet in bathroom if you wanted to use a hair appliance. Showers were VERY rustic. If you don’t mind showering with the occasional centipede. No full length mirror. A suggestion that I have would be have yoga mats an available to use since there is no gym close by.

The room was very rustic and there are many slip and fall hazards. It is a very unique place but no one with any kind of mobility issues should stay there. If you like private outdoor space there is very little. The public deck is nice to sit on and watch the ocean but there is not enough room for all the people that stay here. The beach along this stretch has a lot of garbage. There is snorkeling but again a lot of garbage.

a quiet, peaceful, stylish, affordable place

--such a unique place! every room has its own unique design; primary design material is repurposed wood --this is not the fanciest place, but the intimate setting (and fabulous breakfasts!) made it feel absolutely luxurious -- and the price was really low too! --fantastic covered patio area right on the beach, and it is blessedly peaceful: just the sound of the ocean + no music being played

The staff were very welcoming and ready to assist. Each room was unique and beautifully furnished. These were cleaned to a very high standard. The food for breakfast was excellent as was the other food available. Nice to have thick pancakes and different options. Also good to see recycling in using reusable glass bottles which were filled every day and could be filled as often as required. Plenty of places close by to eat. Would have been good to have a tv in the room as we struck a very wet day. Would highly recommend.
