4/5 Good
fine place to stay
"friendly efficient check in, nice room with A/C already working well. comfy bed, fridge & tea& coffee making facilities. only complaint was restaurant closes at 15.00 on Sundays (I was pre warned of this but it was still a bit of a pain!). would still stay there in future (but not on Sunday!)"

1/5 Terrible
Terrible Stay at Protea Upington
"Terrible experience at this hotel, i had booked a room with a river view, upon my arrival I was allocated a cube room, with no window and a partitioned balcony. I queried this and noticed that they gave my room to their frequent guest and I had to suffer as am not a regular at the property. I was later given a room which had a small window still not the room I had booked and paid for. Just when i though I had all the terrible experience the dinner was even worse i could not swallow their wings under cooked and covered with BBQ source which was very brown. "
