Kandawgyi Lake Area Hotels with Swimming Pool

"I love how it wasn’t just a hotel. It was an immersion into Thai, but also Myanmar culture. The restaurant served the best international breakfast I’ve had while in Asia and it also had the best Thai food I’ve had in either Thailand or Myanmar. The staff goes above and beyond, and they are super friendly and helpful. they have many things on site such as their spa, but they also have a very beautiful swimming pool. They upgraded my room so that I could have a stunning view of the famous pagoda. Needless to say, I will be staying here again, and I might make it a monthly staycation."

"Hotel staff were always kindness and helpful. When I've faced Wi-Fi connection trouble, they were willing to support it. Room was clean and tidy, there were necessary amenities, free bottle of mineral waters,etc. Location was also walkable to the city center. I want to stay this hotel next time as well."

"The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price. "

"Would have given them at least 4 stars overall but my 15 nights stay was somewhat miserable. Myanmar gets very hot and humid most times. During my stay the building AC was not working pretty much throughout my stay. Walked in and it felt like it was steaming hot. Good thing my room had backup AC unit but that barely cool the room. Laundry was ridiculously priced for a piece of clothing like pant or shirt it was $2-3 which is absurd. However, front desk customer service was pleasant. Until the building AC unit is fixed, I do not recommend. "
