"I think very highly of the Dormy Inn chain. This was particularly convenient, located literally across the street from the train station. The room was large relative to other Japanese hotel rooms and the onsen was wonderful, with a generous outdoor area. "

"The ANA Crowne Plaza was a great place to stay! Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great view from our room, and although the property is a but dated, it is meticulously and lovingly maintained. Our room had a full bathtub and some great free amenities to relax… bath salts, eye masks, and teas replenished daily. Highly recommended. Right y the train station and so many shops and restaurants! "

"Nice room with a good location. Very clean and great staff. Nice perk that they offered movies for free in English on the TV. Rooms are pretty tight though. May be problematic if you have a lot of luggage."

"This hotel was dirty!! We were expecting old as we wanted to keep costs down and rayes were low. I have stayed in many APA hotels across Japan and they are fine. But this one was filthy. We had booked 4 nights but after one night cancelled and changed to another hotel. Beds were actually decent in condition (APA Kyoto had beds made out of cardboard) but mold and dust, dirty everywhere in room. Can’t recommend it here. Plenty of nice hotels in Kanazawa."

"It depends how many people and they change AC to save energy and breakfast buffet which uncomfortable for staying people and window carting is thin so too cold in evenings. "

"Easy walking distance to Kenrokuen Garden and easily accessible by bus to other areas like Omicho Market. However, there's no in-room safebox and no onsit breakfast."
