Not satisfied with my stay
First off this hotel has one of the worst check-in procedures I have experienced. the property is supposed to email you a pin number for door access, 48 hours before check in. even with multiple requests for the pin, I did not receive it until I had already been staying at the hotel for two nights. this left me locked out for over an hour the first evening. the property does have a contact number to call to get the pin; however, if you’re a foreign tourist using an esim or don’t have international calling you are stuck until you can get someone to call for you. if you’re going to make this your procedure then you need to follow through on actually sending the info. additionally, they have you fill out a long survey online before you arrive with various personal info, only for you to redo the same thing when you arrive.
Property is a bit old, and could use a face lift. Apart from an odd smell, the rooms are quite comfortable; however there is almost zero noise cancellation. Shared bathrooms are mostly clean, but garbage did not get taken out for a while.
Location isn’t the greatest as you’re a fair walk to all attractions, but it is reasonably close to a bus stop. otherwise there is not much in the immediate area.
If they fixed up some procedures, increased communication, and lowered the price considerably, then this could be a fair budget stay, but currently not getting a lot of value for your booking.
