"Nice resort and rooms looking onto pool and beach area have a nice outlook. Large breakfast areas, we were in the rasa wing with club facilities, food in lounge was nice, staff in lounge were lovely however the lounge is v large and often extremely busy. There isn’t really a beach as the coast has eroded and is all rocks. We had a pleasant stay however have been in nicer shangrila hotels."

"If you stay here, you must book a sea view balcony room….the ocean view day and night is beautiful…since it’s on a public beach, you sometimes get firework show from the locals too. The bed is so comfortable and enough room to sleep three. We had minor problems with a clogged sink and a broken shampoo dispenser but that was quickly resolved once we notified housekeeping (A on the response and even tidied up our bed). "Absolutely beautiful hotel we were staying at Shangri-La in Batu Feringgi beach and felt it was pretty lack lustre in comparison to other Shangri LA’s so we came to George Town for the night. This hotel from the staff to the beautiful design is top notch it’s probably one of the most beautiful designed hotels I’ve been to and the staff go out of their way. It’s walking distance from most things. We are sad to leave today wishing we are staying here for the rest of the holiday "

"My family loves this unit, especially my 12yo girl. She loves the vibes and design. Though it's not very spacious, but big enough for three of us. Unit is well-equipped too, with cooking utensils, shower gel and shampoo, clean towels, washing machine... And alot more 🙂 Dennis was very kind to bring over an umbrella for this rainy seasons. He gave very clear instructions and directions to get into the unit too, so both check-in and out, were smooth and easy. P/S : various New Year's Countdown...
