"Great hotel. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice rooftop bar. Room service food was average. There’s not much around the hotel and the walk into town is a bit dicey along a main road. Best to take a Grab, but due to Thaipussam festival and road closures, this wasn’t possible."

"Lovely hotel and staff. The steamboat restaurant was a great experience, breakfast was very good but the main evening menu we found just ‘ok’. The location isn’t near any amenities but you can walk down to the town centre in 45 minutes. The hotel is on a very busy main road and the traffic is noisy at all times. Also the adjoining rooms don’t offer much privacy as you can hear your neighbour quite clearly. "

"Limited parking but the guards are very helpful. Shower water temperature keeps fluctuating from hot to cold even without changing the tap setting. Room is clean and doesnt feel cramped."

"The property is older and has mould and bugs which are hard to ignore. We liked having the fridge, kettle and large space but the fridge was not cleaned well and I feared setting things down on the bottom. Our room was at the end of the building (quieter) but the wifi did not reach to connect. We had suggested drivers from the hotel cancel on us and little help from the front desk on options. "Lived our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was close to everything and we walked everywhere. A nice park across the street with a clock tower all lit up. Lots of dining options in the town and the food at the restaurant onsite was good too. Breakfast was plentiful. Small gripe…gym was small and no pool. "

"Very nice place with terrific staff and owners (they recommended a spa and helped with the arrangements and transportation and recommendation was spot on). A little bit of a walk to the Old Town and in the heat, that matters. "

"Love the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative."

"The building was beautiful, the staff were fantastic. It’s across from a park and walkable to all the town has to offer. Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm. Will stay again if we’re in town. "

"Me and my family had a great stay in Sunway Lost World Hotel last week. Hotel is nice with great hospitality and it's convenient for us to drive down the town for food. My kid and wife had a wonderful time soaking in the hot spring spa. Will come back again for sure. "

"Stayed in the family and friends suite. Biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Family loved it. Very convenient water dispenser. Hot, cold and warm water. Roomy bathroom with tub and shower. Close enough to Ipoh center. Far enough to be quiet and peaceful. "
