"It was a last minute booking, the pictures looked amazing, which I thought justified the cost. I was wrong. Very unimpressed with the hotel in general, front desk service was not friendly or welcoming and the room was very outdated. Would not recommend staying there at all."

"We stayed for 3 nights and loved this hotel. Reviews suggest it is run down and tired. This was not our experience at all. My only issues were pre arrival. It was not clear at all how to get to the hotel. Cable car? This hotel is actually in the mid hills and you do not need a cable car to get here. You can arrive by bus to the GPO (shops) near the hotel. Then you can either use hotel shuttle bus or use a Grab. The shuttle runs every hour. Leaves the hotel on the hour and from the GPO...

"Amazing stay. However the hotel is almost outdated even though is very comfortable. Staff were great except the newer staff which is foreign staff. Hardly understand Bahasa and limited English. Came during weekend and school holiday. Its very crowded but the staff managed patrons professionally. I might return again maybe during non peak with less crowd."
