"The apartment was spacious but quite old and dirty especially the bathroom and kitchen. The trash can had some weird smell. Quite noisy as it was close to the streets. Plenty of parking. Owner was quick to reply my messages and communication was smooth. "

"Douglas was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for check-in. Property managers were also friendly. Was surprised at the condition of the unit based on the photos though. Could’ve used some renos with marks on walls, discoloured grout, bedroom door with a rip, worn living room cushions, iron with burnt residue that transferred to our clothes, and loft bed’s floor boards were straining when you step on them. Not sure what the “thematic” part of the title is though, as there were no...

"There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's good for a family. It's clear and its space is enough for 4 persons. The bad equiments is the TV controler, it's difficult to use and we couldn't watch TV. "

"The various facilities are available. We love the swimming pool and jacuzzi area (except you need to bring along your own towel) which is facing such a scenic landscape view of mountains. it's also adjacent to the gym and table tennis room. There's a bbq pit area at the same floor. Last but not least, a roof top overview space. It's clean, spacious to just enjoy the view and relax. Or do even better, do your yoga. "

"This propery owner/ incharge very nice and very humble, cooperative man, everything was clean, hot water, fan, kitchen items, clean rooms, bed and bed sheets were cleaned and very good environment. No need to bring anything just come and stay here like it's your own house. I will recommend to everyone "

"The property itself was filled with hundreds of Ants when we arrived; on the floor and on the table. The mattresses were broken; springs popped through the mattress fabric. The bed sheets and pillow cases looked and smelled like they haven't been changed for a while. The bathrooms were dirty with broken accessories jutting out dangerously on the sink wall. "Good location to walk round and exploring the museums, food, Ipoh historic culture in the Concubine areas. It's new and clean with friendly stuffs. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Drop off/Pickup is a little bit inconvenient due to the entrance at the curve corner with short stop. I would like to stay in this hotel again when I visit Ipoh again."

The photos do not prepare you for the beauty of the site, the mountain backdrop and lush jungle with gently weaving paths promising so much and tempting you to explore. The caves and hot springs, picture perfect pool and all day dining. The villas are perfectly presented and provide so much more than a standard room, spacious living space and private pools, balcony over the water or furnished terrace and well stocked mini bar. The vibe at Banjaran is laid back and low pressure. Long lazy delicious breakfasts and options to relax and decompress around the site, spa, sauna, pools and places to just site and watch the world go by.
