"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"The communications were clear and prompt. We were picked up from the bus station despite arriving at Hakuba around 10.30pm. The property is also equipped with amenities that one can reasonably expect."

"hard to imagine a greater contrast between a property and its location. it's situated in an amazingly privileged placement. as far as I can tell it's the only ski-in ski-out accommodation in the area. just strap on your board or skis and you're 30 seconds' glide down to the lift. the only issue about the location is that there are relatively few places in walking distance, and the shuttles stop running early - so be prepared for longish walks or a taxi back from dinner at night. the prime...

"The location of Apartments Hakuba was perfect - just a short walk to the ski lifts, bus stop & restaurants. The accommodation is pretty new so still in great condition - basic but clean. It wasn't as large as other 2 bedrooms that we've stayed at but was adequate for us & our adult son. "

"We loved this chalet - very modern and extremely comfortable; close to bars and restaurants; easy accessibility to the mountains. It’s a superb place. Plus the property managers were so helpful and accommodating; they really made everything so easy for us. We’d stay here again without hesitation. "

Stayed 3 nights used hotel as a base for that plus to go to Kanazawa (20 mins by train), & Fukui (45 mins by train) to Dinosaur museum & also look around Toyama itself rather than drag our bags from hotel to hotel in those places plan worked perfectly. "The Hotel is an amazing Onsen, modern with a fantastic Breakfast the hot springs are to die for, they consist of 1 indoor and one outdoor baths, its got a Sauna and a ice bath, they offer Dinner Buffet for an aditional 8000¥ per person, the only things I did not like were : They do not offer room keeping at all, just change of towels if asked , The hotel is in Tonami, but isolated, meaning you can only go out by car, and there’s nothing to do ir see by foot, The wifi is decent and covers the whole property, but cell service is spotty."

"The doubletree in Toyama was a nice, clean hotel well located for walking to many places in Toyama. I had very limited knowledge of Toyama going into the trip but the city is lovely!!! Had a great time getting drunk with some locals at a nearby bar and the Rotate sushi place a few blocks from the hotel was phenomenal. I can’t speak to the hotel breakfast since we didn’t partake but any hotel breakfast buffet can’t be so bad right??"

"The reception staff (林さん) is very friendly. He recommended me to join the toyoko Inn member when I frequently travel to Japan. I feel that he is very considerate of me! The room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple and delicious."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Three pillows and nice mattress. There are at least four coin laundry machines, two inside women’s changing room for the public bath which was quite acceptable. Three elevators meant never a wait. Some reviews complained about lack of parking but it’s right next to the train station. Perfect for me. I would return. "
