"Property was 50 feet from the ocean with great balcony (lanai). Dukes Restaurant was only a short walk down the beach. Staff was exceptionally friendly. The condo pool is very old with minimal shallow water so it might be an issue for a family with children. Pool and beach furniture was plentiful. Rooms are individually owned so decorating and amenities vary. Unfortunately, the TV's in our room were both very old and had small screens (approx 24 inch diagonal). Owner needs to upgrade at least the bedroom to a larger size. Otherwise, the unit was terrific, and we enjoyed our stay. "

"This was our first time on Maui. Staying at the Westin was the right thing. From getting by the valet staff to the open-air lobby, our first impressions were only confirmed through check-in and our room. We took an ocean view in the Ocean Tower and overlooked the waterfall and incredible koi pond. The layout makes it easy to stay on the property and get everything, but the beachside walkway also makes it easy to access the shopping plaza next door. Housekeeping did a fabulous job. It was about 45 minutes from the airport, but we rented a car to drive to the Island."
