Aug. 14 at approx. 22:40 (I was counting the minutes before last call 02:00 at the two knight clubs next to each other by the bus station and town square) asked the reception boy in Thai about keeping the room one more night, he looked in his big book and said "yes, the room is available tomorrow night" the 15th, but the point was to extend my stay, not ask academic questions such as "does the sun rise in the east?"
We had a phone call the next morning.
I was the paid guest, booked on Expedia, not girlfriend, but we gave them her Thai phone number.
Front desk called room this morning, I was in lobby level excellent coffee shop, they should have asked for ME, asked ME to come to the desk or call them once I was back in the room.
Everything is funny here, I tried to complain at check out time late morning today, and I just got a smile and "sorry".
There should be warnings and after three, fire them.
Hire the girls in the coffee shop to run the reception, two of them spoke English.
Reception was Thai language only.
