"The villa was of an exceptionally high standard and the views were quite spectacular! Our family rented both villas and so shared the pool which was fabulous, I would not recommend anything different as the villas are very close together and to share a pool with people you didn’t know could be difficult. You are in very close proximity to each other. The villa is quite remote and a car is definitely needed. The nearest supermarket is approx 20 mins away down a very windy and steep mountainside...

Mr Stathis, the owner and Mrs Voula the caretaker were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The hilltop view of Kalamata is just amazing, especially at night. "I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. ...

"booked to stay in what was advertised as a three room, two bathroom , WIFI, fully equipped unit with satellite TV. eneded up in a two bed, one bathroom, no WIFI, kitchen ONLY equipped with a frypan and some crockery...... and no satellite TV. NEVER STAY IN THIS ONE. even had to make own beds - floors were dusty and grubby as were the surfaces. BEST THING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY WAS LEAVING!"
