We arrived late and this place wouldn't let me check in. Upon calling the property they said my booking wasn't processed, hotels.com not the property would figure out what went wrong. They would not rebook me for the same day or next day . Leaving us hanging at midnight to fend for ourselves after a 12h flight.
The third party property management company had apparently send me an email earlier that day with absolutely no details on the date, property address about the last min cancellation. Hotels.com wasted two hours of my life dragging me from one operator to another with no resolution or compensation!
